As a self-taught artist sketching in the subways of N.Y.C., artist Mark Dischler realized that his work was becoming his life’s diary; the jester attempting to find a joke in all of life's drama. As a cancer survivor at age 13, this project had personal meaning for the artist. One of his favorite songs, Queen's “ The Show Must Go On”, expressed how he feels about life and illness and it also inspired and set the stage for 'Cowmedy & Tragedy.'
